Let’s start a movement!

Attention friends and fans! We have a simple assignment for all of you: share your favorite songs from Rip the Sky From the Earth with your friends, family, music lovers, acquaintances, bums, your congregation, pets, teachers, waitresses, flight attendants and anybody else with ears who is willing to listen. Burn them a disc, share your mp3s, put it on a mix-tape, hell, send smoke signals if you have to! Then, tell them to share it with their friends, and their friends to share it with their friends, and so on! Let’s start a movement!

Vans Gifting Suite at 2011 SXSW (by VansMusic66)

We love our new Vans. Our management team thought we should take some time while they were still clean to take some pics. Dig em.

Just a fun note. While we were at SXSW, we spent many hours in hotels filling out THOUSANDS of fliers with sale codes and to promote our Trophy Room showcase. Doin’ work!

Major meetings happening! Good times and hard work ahead.

Vans Gifting Suite

We were invited to attend the exclusive Vans Gifting Suite while in Austin. We got some sweet new shoes and shirts. We also participated in the Vans video. We couldn’t wait to get our new shoes on. Thanks again for having us Tiff and Kurt. You guys are the best.

SXCHI

We want to begin by thanking Ryan Manno and everyone at JBTV for inviting us down. It’s a great opportunity for any band to play in the midst of the SXSW festival. For those of you who don’t know what SXSW is, here is a brief description. “It’s like Warped Tour on crack, with more walking, and less places to pee,” direct quote from Tiffany Barratt, of Vans.

6th street in Austin shuts down completely, and every business becomes a venue. You can’t help but accidentally run into live music.

We played a showcase for Chicago bands. It was nice to be with fellow northerners. We played at 9 pm, Thursday, St. Patrick’s Day. Our set went great. When we finished, the crowd was chanting “one more song!” It was a great finish. Thanks to everyone who came out and gave us a listen. See you next year!
